Art is more than just a hobby to me. It is a way to escape, to stop thinking and worrying about things I can not
change. When I am painting, I see and think about only the picture I see in my head... Other than the eye that
has to be wary of just what my adventurous 2-year old is up to that is!
I just finished my first year of business, and am continuing on to finish the Accountancy program next year. School
and family does not leave a lot of time to paint, but I am somehow working it in!
Children have a funny way of making you re-evaluate your life. The best piece of advice my mom gave me about being
a mom was to make sure you felt fulfilled - and the rest would fall into place. So, while I hadn't done any painting
in several years, I decided maybe I would give it a try again! With the support of my friends and family, it has definitely
proved a worthwhile venture.
